“I rarely left home except for doctor’s appointments after leaving the hospital.  An Able Faith movie event was the first time I really went out of the house after my injury, and it gave me the confidence to get back out in the world again.”

SMALL GROUPS- A VIRTUAL HAVEN OF CONNECTION AND SUPPORT

Looking to build a supportive community with others who truly understand the journey of neurological disabilities? Our virtual small groups offer a welcoming space for individuals facing these challenges, as well as those caring for a loved one. No need to worry about transportation or distance – we've removed those barriers!

In our small groups, we cover a variety of topics and dedicate time for open discussions. Each session lasts an hour, with the first 30 minutes centered around building a supportive community, and the latter half delving into faith-based discussions. It's an opportunity to connect, share, and be inspired from the comfort of your own space. Take a step toward greater connection and join our small groups – your community is just a click away

“We came across Able Faith in a Facebook post and reached out for any sense of hope and purpose, and they came to our rescue. They brought us a respite meal. We had conversations with someone who cared and even joined a bible study. Connections mean soo much when you’ve gone from being the life of the party to being isolated for soo long.”

I can’t express how much Able Faith has helped my son and me get through the last few years.  One year Able Faith volunteers sent handwritten Christmas cards, and I still look at the Christmas card on my mantle from Steve and Becky Wells whenever I need an extra dose of encouragement.“

SHARE THE CARE PROGRAM: EMPOWERING CAREGIVERS WITH SUPPORT FROM A RESILIENT COMMUNITY

Life can take unexpected turns, especially when facing the challenges of caring for a loved one with a neurological disability. Able Faith understands the gap that exists between diagnosis and the support needed for caregivers upon returning home. That's where our Share The Care Program steps in.

Created with the aim to empower and foster a strong sense of community among informal caregivers, this program provides a vast array of resources and networks, connecting caregivers with others who understand their journey.

Informal caregivers, often unpaid family members thrust into this role without formal training, find solace and support through our program. In the whirlwind of a diagnosis, families experience an abrupt shift into the unknown, lacking sufficient resources for this life-changing event.

Able Faith's Share The Care Program is here to fill that gap. We offer emotional well-being, support networks, resources, and education, equipping caregivers to provide the best possible care not only for their loved ones but also for themselves. Join us in building a resilient community where caregivers find the strength to navigate this journey with grace and support

GROUP TRAINING

Build strength and community with participating in small group training at the AFM Center.   Family members can run an errand or just nap while you workout.

“Our savings are depleted, and our disability income only covers the barest of  necessities.  Adaptive workouts for spinal cord injury patients are essential but extremely expensive. We’re grateful Able Faith exists to provide resources and trainers to fill in the gap.“
